Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Talefetti website and the current Talefetti Android app, including limited testing. Talefetti is in development and is not yet publicly released. For privacy questions, contact siriushevoice@gmail.com.

1. Who handles your information

Talefetti is the reading service responsible for the information described here. Its developer can be contacted at the email above. This policy describes the current implementation; we will update it before materially changing our data practices.

2. Information we process

Account information: an internal user identifier and session credentials. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your Google account identifier, name, email address, and an ID token used to verify your identity. We do not receive your Google password or request access to Gmail, Drive, contacts, or calendars.
Reading activity: saved stories, reading progress, recent reading, and unlocked-story records associated with your Talefetti account.
Transactions: coin balance, transaction and unlock records, and purchase verification information when those features are enabled. Current local testing uses simulated purchases, not real charges. Talefetti does not collect payment card numbers.
App usage: events such as opening the app, viewing a story or paywall, searching, and starting or canceling a purchase flow. These records include internal identifiers, event times, and relevant story identifiers; they are used to understand and troubleshoot the service.
Technical and support information: network requests necessarily expose an IP address to infrastructure providers. Error logs may include technical request information. When you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you send.

3. How we use information

We use this information to authenticate users, maintain accounts and reading state, provide story access, verify transactions where enabled, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, improve the reading experience, and respond to support or privacy requests. Google account information is used for sign-in and account management, not for advertising profiles.

4. Service providers and sharing

We use Google for optional sign-in and Tencent Cloud for hosted infrastructure, storage, and content delivery. These providers process the information needed to perform their services. Email providers process support correspondence. We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to investigate abuse and protect users or the service. We do not sell personal information or use Google user data for targeted advertising.

The app contains an AppsFlyer integration, but it is disabled in the current configuration. It does not initialize without a configured developer key and an enabled measurement setting. We will update these disclosures and provide any required choices before enabling additional measurement.

Talefetti’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.

5. Storage and security

Account and reading information is stored in our backend database. The Android app stores session credentials, pending transaction state, cached reading content, and progress in app-private storage protected using Android Keystore encryption. Public website connections use HTTPS. Authorized development builds may connect to a local test server. No storage or transmission method is guaranteed to be completely secure.

Our infrastructure providers may process information outside your country. We limit access to what is needed to operate and support Talefetti.

6. Retention and deletion requests

We retain account and reading records while needed to provide the account and associated access. You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing siriushevoice@gmail.com. Include your account email or Talefetti user ID, but never send a password or login token. We may need to verify account ownership.

In-app account deletion is not yet available. Requests are handled manually. We will explain any information that must be retained for legal obligations, security investigations, or transaction records. Backup copies may remain until the relevant backup is replaced or expires. Deleting an account may remove saved progress, balance, and story access; we will explain the consequences before processing a request.

7. Your choices

Google sign-in is optional. You can sign out in the app and revoke Talefetti’s Google access through your Google Account connections. Signing out, revoking access, or uninstalling the app does not itself delete server records. Guest accounts may not be recoverable after app data is cleared. Privacy rights vary by location; contact us to exercise rights applicable to you.

8. Website cookies and children

This website does not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or cookies. Following an external link is subject to the destination’s practices. Talefetti is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.

9. Changes and contact

We will publish changes on this page and revise the date above. Material changes to Google data use will be disclosed before that new use begins, with consent where required. Questions can be sent to siriushevoice@gmail.com.
